It’s a dream place to be— the owners have filled it with beautiful extras that make a visit perfect.
Super clean, the best position for the village /pub and excellent eateries.
The Nest is a charming little bolt-hole perfect for couples. It is finished to a very high spec and has all the little extras you need for an extremely comfortable stay. The bed is particularly AMAZING! Situated perfectly for lazy days exploring the beautiful mediaeval village of Cartmel and one of its many pubs/restaurants or if you’re feeling a bit more energetic and fancy a hike the Lakes are only a short car journey away. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!
It had everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen and a great sized living room. both showers were really hot and powerful! great having two bathrooms when there's 4 of you staying in one place.
the bedrooms are a good size and the beds themselves are really comfortable and I slept well.
A wonderful place to stay. No faults.
